Have you ever watched documentary entitled “The Cruise”? It was made in 1998 about the New York City Double Decker tour guide codenamed “Speed”. He was giving guidance about buildings and museum for person who want to enjoy New York. Usually old person from Asia like to look around and feel the New York free air. He was paid US$200 for 20 hours a week. Not really a decent job, but hey if you enjoy walk around the city, why not?
New York City Double Decker route is mostly circling Manhattan, visiting New York landmarks. It takes about 2.5 hours to complete. The route is including passing sport center’s Madison Square Garden, tallest building’s Empire State Building, and perfect-place-for-gathering Times Square. The bus departs as early as 8 o’clock in the morning and the latest trip departs at 5 in the afternoon. The price is not that expensive. Adult only need to pay US$37, while children get 10 dollar discount.
From the above, see the magnificent of New York skyscrapers, up to more than 100 floors above the ground. In spare time, why don’t we try to have conversation with the tour guide? Probably, he/she may have similar life like “Speed” in the movie.

Gosh.. to be added to the list are 10,000 BC (not exactly 90 minutes, but of course less than 2 hours), Dr Seuss’ Horton Hears a Who (usually cartoon movie runs less than 2 hours), Vantage Point, and Spiderwick Chronicle. Wow, the budget goes up but the result goes down?
Oil booming affects movie production too? What’s next? Is James Bond going to go 90 minutes too? Geez, I should pay half price for that..

Yes, Daniel Craig is still the current James Bond. Probably, James Bond is most perfect role of uber-man. He has latest gadget, modern cars, and great body. Not only surrounded by girls, what I like most as James Bond is can do traveling around the world! Not only free traveling, James Bond also can stay at the best suite in five star hotels and bill it to his beloved Britain!
As James Bond, i will chase the bad guy wherever he goes. From light districts in Amsterdam to U2 concert in Dublin, from unique old buildings in Prague to the glamor of lights in New York City. Unfortunately, it is still a dream and I still have not fulfilled it.

Still discussing about movie soundtrack. Most likely, the pace and genre of movie soundtrack is following the theme of movie. For fantasy theme, like Lord of The Rings and Harry Potter, the entire movie soundtrack will relate to Classic Orchestra music. Movie about speed, like Fast and Furious franchises relates to hip hop and beat music tone.
If you like futuristics action movies like Matrix, they tend to feature Rock music. But, if you like countryroad action movies like The Dukes of Hazzard, the theme won’t go anywhere besides country. Wanna grab free ring tones? There are tons out there in the Internet. Choose your favorite genre, whether it is rock ringtone or country ringtone. May you can share your favorite songs to others.

Some people may have been dissatisfied with Jumper, a movie about special people who can move through anything. As we all know the duration, is less than 2 hours. To be exact, it runs in 90 minutes. Big budget movie, hoping to gain the money back in box office, only create 90 minutes long movie?
I think it has been a trend lately, Cloverfield and Rambo (the fourth), are also has less than 2 hours in duration. Are the director (and the crew) has already run out of creativity? Why can’t they make 30 minutes extension? Probably, another trend is releasing director’s uncut version.
I think I should pay just three quarter of the regular price instead.

It spreads out that Golden Compass, the first of His Dark Trilogy, turned out to has an anti religion theme. The movie that being released last December has drawing concerned from Christian. Is it really true?
His Dark Trilogy (paperback and hardcover) is created by Phillip Pullman, award winner for children literature in 1995 and 1997, who reveal himself as devoted atheist. The series themselves tell about the adventure of streetwise girl who travels through multiple worlds populated by witches, armored-plated bears, and assassins to defeat the oppressive forces of senile God.
Pullman himself told that he doesn’t profess any religion. He doesn’t think it’s possible that there is a God. He has the greatest difficulty in understanding what is meant by the words ’spiritual’ or ’spirituality’. So be careful when you accompany your children watching the movie.
